Bodywork encompasses the many different forms of massage therapy in alternative medicine. These can include:

Pricing
Full Body Deep Tissue - $95.00 per hour (or $80 for 45 minutes)
Bodywork methods combined are Deep Tissue Myofascial Bodywork, Shiatsu, Lymph Drainage, Circulation Massage, Pressure Point Therapy, Reflexology Stimulus, Bowen Techniques, Oriental Massage, Acupressure, Accident and Sports Injury Massage. Whilst using any appropriate Essential Oils, Ointments, or Herbal Lotions you may require. Leave feeling Rejuvenated.
Deep Tissue Massage including hot herb poultice - $95.00 per hour (or $80 45 minutes)
SPECIAL OFFER: 90 Minute Session - $110 (normally $130)
Deep Tissue corrects muscle and bone pain issues from all injury and illness. Deep Tissue also improves bone density issues, unsightly surface blood vessels in the legs and is deeply therapeutic for injuries.
This treatment is not completely pain free, some discomfort is felt in areas of the body. If pain is felt I do try to work beneath your threshold of pain. Remember the end results are worth a little discomfort.
Bodywork releases stress, softens hardened tissue, stimulates energy flow, corrects structural misalignment and postural inbalances, as well as stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation, eases stiff numb or painful areas, soft tissue injuries, varicose veins are reduced greatly after about 6 sessions. Ph disturbances, uric and lactic acid accumulation, improves sleep, reduces pain in the body, reduces hormone imbalances and creates a feeling of well being.
Acupuncture - $60 (or $480 for 10 sessions)
Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years for many conditions and is a technique of inserting and manipulating filiform needles into "acupuncture points" on the body. Acupuncture works to restore vital energy flow within the body, it will restore health and well-being and is particularly good at treating pain. Acupuncture may be performed if requested for nervous and sleep disorders. New research suggests that acupuncture may be used to reduce caesarian birth particulary from breach presentation.
NB: Oriental Pulse Diagnosis MUST be performed before acupuncture can be performed.
Poultice - $60.00 (Approx. 30min)
Hot Herb packs applied to the body at particular locations for different injuries and problems in the body. Poultices are a very old traditional therapy used to relieve pain and settle inflammations or tissue trauma. Best used before the initial massages.
Bodywork Programme
After an initial 3 week programme depending on the disorder or injury our practitioner may choose to see you once a fortnight or once a month.
After your health crisis has passed a full body work is recommended about every four to eight weeks depending on how stressful life has been for you.
Our Body work is a comprehensive deep tissue massage performed on the whole body excluding the genitals. Reflexology, Acupressure, Ting Points, Zone Therapy, Aromatherapy, Poultice {hot herb packs} are all used.
Area Work - $60 (25min)
This work is only suggested if a particular area is giving a problem. For example : back pain, neck pain, heavy legs. A full body work is suggested for the 1st treatment to totally clear all blockages throughout the body, for example, your lower back is painful it may be that your hips are out of alignment, which will affect the muscles and attachments in the lower back and legs.
